Our Superman is Brett Howells. He is the owner of the business and chief contact for your accounting and tax needs. Brett has been in Public Practice since the age of 18, starting with Stirlings in 1989 under the tutelage of the late Peter Fodor.
He has in this time completed his Accounting Degree at Charles Sturt University and gained full member status with CPA Australia. He has dealt with various businesses in that time and is happy to help a wide range of clients with their accounting and tax needs.
In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, play a little golf and run the “occasional” marathon (up to 7 at this moment in time).
Our WonderWoman is Catherine Misic. She has been working at BWH on a part time basis for the last 4 years. She has worked on and off with Brett in various firms for the past 18 years and she is here every day except Mondays.
She has experience in a number of areas, especially bookkeeping with MYOB and Xero and processing for Self-Managed Super Funds.
She also likes to spend time with her family in her spare time, play a little tennis and generally just relax watching movies.
Our Batman is Michael Gibb. He has been involved in Accounting for over 40 years, so he brings vast knowledge to the table. Michael has been in and out of Public Practice over time and run his own business as well as advising at the BEC and for IBA.
He has a strong background in helping with Business Planning and Cashflow Forecasting through these consulting roles.
In his spare time he likes to go camping, play a little golf and enjoy a fine wine while relaxing.
Our Batgirl is Julie Nixon. She is a relative newcomer to Public Practice after recently completing her Accounting Degree. She only works on Mondays at BWH, as she also performs office administration for one of our clients, Federation Clinic at other times.
She too likes to spend time with her family and running as well, just recently completing her first half marathon in an impressive time.
